Preparing Your Campus Visit
Once we finalize a planned visit, the office will send you all the details about the meeting (time, location on campus, etc.).  Think about what you want to share with the students. Experience has shown us that the most powerful presentations are the ones that tell is as it is--tell them your story--and answer the students' questions.

Visiting Vet Talking Points will help you prepare for your presentation to the students.

If you would like to present using a PowerPoint presentation, please download/save the
ARV Overview Presentation.  If there is internet in your meeting room, you can simply open the presentation and view it directly from here.

After Your Visit
Within 48 hours of the completion of your visit, please take a few minutes and complete the
After-Presentation Report.  We need this input f
or statistical and fundraising purposes.

You are entitled to submit for reimbursement for your travel and out-of-pocket expenses.  To do so, please follow the directions on the ARV Expense Voucher.
Notes:
1.  Voucher should be returned to ARV Office by mail or fax within 60 days of the school visit.
2.  The current IRS standard mileage rate is .50/mile.

We thank all our dedicated members who take part in the School Visit Program.  Your time, talent and energy assist us in building up the cadre of veterinarians dedicated to serving rural America...now and for generations to come.
